What are some ways of generating electrical power that you're familiar with? There's solar power—which makes energy from sunlight. Wind power uses the force of wind to turn a turbine and make electricity. Hydroelectric, or water power, uses the force of flowing water to do the same thing. There's also radioisotope power.
