Scientist for a Day

Olá, meu nome é Encélado. Não sei se vocês já ouviram falar de mim, mas sou o sexto maior satélite natural de saturno. E hoje, falarei um pouco de mim e da minha história.

Tenho minha superfície bem gelada com oceanos e criovulcões.

Ah, por falar em criovulcões, é por eles que envio presentes para meu melhor amigo: Saturno e, inclusive, ele guarda todos com muito carinho, fazendo deles seus anéis.

Já que estamos falando de planetas amigos, me lembrei da minha velha amiga Terra. Eu a conheci antes do pior acontecer...a chegada dos seres humanos. Quando a conheci, ela era um planeta cheio de vida, mas a lua me contou que, infelizmente, ela está doente, devastada e quase sem água, tudo por culpa dos seres humanos.

Por conta da história da Terra, desenvolvi o meu maior medo...o medo dos seres humanos! Tenho medo de que eles venham e façam comigo o que fizeram com a Terra. Além disso, a lua me contou que os seres humanos já estão à procura de outro lugar, pois a Terra já está em estado crítico. Tomara que, se eles vierem para cá, não façam o comigo o que fizeram com a Terra.

Em minha superfície acontece um fenômeno muito parecido com o que tem na Terra. Quando mando os presentes para o meu amigo Saturno acontece algo incrível. Alguns dos presentes voltam como se fossem neve. Confesso que essa é a melhor parte do meu dia.

Hello, my name is Enceladus. I do not know if you've heard of me, but I'm Saturn's sixth largest natural satellite. And today, I'll tell you a bit about myself and my story.

I have a very cold surface with oceans and cryovolcanism.

Ah, speaking of cryovolcanism, it is for them that I send gifts to my best friend: Saturn and, even, he keeps all with great affection, making them his rings.

Since we're talking about friendly planets, I remembered my old friend Earth. I knew her before the worst happened ... the arrival of human beings. When I met her, she was a planet full of life, but the moon told me that, unfortunately, she is sick, devastated, and almost without water, all because of human beings.

Because of Earth's history, I developed my greatest fear ... the fear of human beings! I am afraid that they will come and do with me what they did to the Earth. Also, the moon told me that humans are already looking for another place, because Earth is already in critical condition. Hopefully, if they come here, do not do with me what they did to Earth.

On my surface happens a phenomenon very similar to what it has on Earth. When I send gifts to my friend Saturn, something incredible happens. Some of the presents return as if they were snow. I confess that this is the best part of my day.
