Topic: Ariel

In a visit made to Uranus in 1986, the Voyager 2 spacecraft located several surcharges of information and Ariel, which can be studied by astrobiology in search of signs of life.

Ariel is cut by several grabens, which suggests that you see recent geological activity. At the beginning of its formation the temperature of the satellite was about 195 ° K, and the water could be found in a liquid state, this due to the combination of cumulative heating and deterioration of radioactive elements, however, after the cooling of its surface, the water has solidified. An extremely important fact about Ariel is the presence of carbon dioxide, which is an agent for the greenhouse effect. With the balanced greenhouse effect, we would be able to make Ariel's temperature stable , as we would be able to trap heat in the atmosphere . Its surface is solid and young, allowing the installation of power generators geothermal operating heat from the core for the production of clean energy that can be converted into heat. In its early stages, the average temperature was -78.15° C, and many living beings living in environments extremophiles as tardigrade, surviving at temperatures of -192 ° C to over 100 ° C, or various other beings that live in places like Antarctica.

The return of research is extremely important to the research of William C. Tittemore for University of Arizona, Ariel may have suffered the commensurability of moving average, where the resonance orbital would have increased the eccentricity of the orbits and the internal temperature of the satellite would have increased by 20 ° K. Even if the chances of harboring life are minimal, there is still a probability of proving that we are not alone in the universe, for this reason we encourage the return of research in Ariel."
